Head of Projects

  • Oversee the end-to-end management of complex and major projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Proactively manage relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and impact.
  • Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.

  • Develop a logical risk assessment plan based on the risk level of the offer from safety, robustness, and reliability perspectives.
  • Develop, execute, and report on the DfSR plans regularly.
  • Train and coach design engineering teams on DfSR methodologies, tools, and techniques to achieve robustness and reliability targets.
  • Develop technical expertise in offers, including package substations, distribution transformers, MV and LV switchgear manufactured.

Project Engineering Manager

  • Manage global time schedule of concerned engineering activities, check coherency of links between engineering activities and other project functions activities (procurement, construction, commissioning) and organize follow up of critical activities of the project or of his/her discipline.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of design to stakeholders with suitable quality including Partner documents
  • Lead & coordinate the design teams, and for large & complex project support PED and Project I&I manager in the engineering change management
  • Participate and contribute to the project multidisciplinary design reviews according to the EMH procedures and per the project strategy

  • Each day, you will plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for OEM’s, Panel Builders, Consultants, End Users and EPC’s within all market segments of the Medium Voltage Product and Solution portfolio to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • The work model for the role is: Homebased with travel expected to ABB offices and customer sites.
  • This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions business in the UK.
  • Main stakeholders are Key Customers, Marketing and Sales Director ELDS, Product Market Managers, Tendering team, Factory Representatives and other Sales and Account Management Interfaces.
  • You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources.
    1. Building a robust sales organisation through best practices, training and cross-collaboration to ensure achievement of sales budget.
    2. Coordinating the information flow around sales activities, and providing forecasts and market intelligence to marketing and sales.

Electrical Design Engineer

What You’ll Do

  • Support electrical systems requirements capture & management, design, development, integration, validation and commissioning activities for the complete Aggreko manufactured product range
  • Creation of technical specifications, functional design specifications and test procedures for electrical systems.
  • Develop and maintain electrical CAD platforms (EPlan) and continually improve design and release processes to ensure electrical deliverables meet the time, cost and quality needs of new product developments.
  • Provide SME support to major technical quality investigations.
  • Develops the electrical engineering aspects of the existing product range to achieve operating and manufacturing improvements and to meet new needs in the marketplace. This includes adapting the products to meet entirely different applications and the needs of new business sectors.
  • Carries out technical liaison with key suppliers regarding the selection of components, their support in production and subsequently throughout the lifetime of the product.

You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience

  • Experience of electrical circuit and equipment specification and ability to produce design calculations for all aspects of electrical systems up to and including 13.8kV.
  • Proficient in CAD systems. Knowledge of EPLAN P8, EPLAN Pro Panel, EPLAN Harness and AutoCAD is desirable.
  • Knowledge of engineering systems and processes - PLM systems (Enovia), MRP systems (M3), Engineering change control, international standards, component selection, and new product development processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical controls (i.e. panel building and installation, generator controls. Motor control centres, drives etc)
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements to produce schematic and wiring diagrams and all part specifications of the electrical system.
  • Flexibility to meet a fluctuating workload and a wide variety of, often unpredictable, problems.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Who We’re Looking For

  • Hands on Electrical Design, Installation, Development, Commissioning, Maintenance or Servicing experience working with bespoke equipment (Machine Tools, Test Rigs, Capital Equipment)
  • Experience working with PLC driven equipment (fault finding/basic programming)
